Why DIY Paper Flower Bouquet

Flowers have always been so beautiful and pleasing. They always become an instant way to adorn any rooms or celebrations. These pretty little things are a great way to impress others.

The real flower bouquet might be more beautiful and fragrant. However, as the time goes by, the flowers are dying and not as fresh as they used to be. Therefore, the paper flower will be a great alternative.

They may not as pretty and fragrant as the real ones, but they do embellish a room for a longer period of time. Paper flowers are more durable and affordable. They can be used for months, even years. And you surely have the chance to have a nest egg.

Step 1:

Draw a circle on the papers that you have prepared beforehand. You can use any circular things such as a CD, container lid, or a tiny jar to make a circle.

If you are quite sure that you can make a perfect circle without any helps from a CD, just go ahead. If you are going to use a container lid, make sure that the diameter is not more than 4 inches.

Step 2:

Using scissors, cut the circle out meticulously. Do it to all the papers.

Step 3:

Draw spiral patterns on each circular paper so that you can follow the line and cut it fastidiously. If you are quite sure that you can cut a spiral onto your paper, you do not have to draw the pattern beforehand.

To get a perfect spiral from a circle, you begin with cutting the outer part of the paper. Start the narrow cutting first, then it goes wider and wider. Again, do it to all the papers.

Step 4:

After cutting out all the papers, you can begin to roll the spiral. You can begin rolling the end of the outer part of the paper. Roll it from the outside in. When you come to the end (the center of the spiral), you can begin to uncoil and adjust it a little bit to get the shape that you want. You can do it slowly and carefully so it will not be messy.

If you get the desired shape already, simply fold the center of the spiral to the bottom of the flower and secure it with glue. Do the same thing to the other papers.
